Mu Sigma Kappa Sorority

Mu Sigma Kappa, also known as "My Sister's Keeper", is a sisterhood that was created so that all women of all ethnic backgrounds can unite together to serve our communities. The women of MSK are dedicated, outgoing, and knowledgeable. We are an organization for women who were born to stand out. We are more than just our letters, we are leaders. MSK is for women young and "seasoned", that want to make a difference in the world one community at a time. 

Among other things, we prioritize education, leadership/entrepreneurship, mentoring, and community service. Not only will joining MSK transform your life, but it will also transform your community. Instead of remaining silent and contributing to some of the world's problems, you will become a part of the solution. 

The Vision of Mu Sigma Kappa

Here is some important information and clarification concerning the vision of Mu Sigma Kappa. The acronym for Mu Sigma Kappa is My Sister's Keeper. The Greek letters for M.S.K. are ΜΣΚ. 

We are a service organization built on the foundation of taking care of our communities. We use the Greek alphabet so our sisters will have an opportunity in which they can still wear paraphernalia to represent this great organization. We are not just a sorority because it is not solely for college students but it is for younger and older sisters alike. We are appointed by our Founders to provide an organization for sisters to grow together in unity. Members can be in other organizations while being a member of MSK and we encourage you to learn more about what we have to offer.

There are no “secrets”, “rituals”, “hazing”, or expensive fees. We are more than just a sorority; we are a sisterhood. Once you join you become a member for life. The women of MSK are the role models of our communities.

Mu Sigma Kappa (M.S.K.) will reach out to our communities by educating and promoting community service, education, and entrepreneurship. We will sponsor events such as public speaking, poetry slams, step shows, and talent shows to reach out to other young ladies in the community. Mu Sigma Kappa will also host workshops, webinars, professional development, and retreats.
